Olbrzymy Singletracks are a paradise for advanced cyclists who love the thrill of technical descents and challenges. Get ready for action and test your skills on some of the most demanding trails in the Karkonosze Mountains.

70 Km of Pure Adventure.

These trails are named after Slavic gods and demons: Perun, Utopiec, Doppler, Zmora, Borowy, Poświst, Skarbek, Licho, Błotnik, Rokitnik, Skrzat, Jaga, Leszy, Czart.

Olbrzymy Singletracks are divided into two loops: Piechowice and Przesieka. The location of Chata Czego Dusza Pragnie allows you to easily access any of these loops. Choose your challenges and spread your adventure over two days, discovering each route separately and riding them "in a chain."

We will start the Przesieka loop with the "Licho" singletrack above our cottage, and you can find the Piechowice loop access at the "Srebny Widok" parking lot by riding downhill from Chata Czego Dusza Pragnie. Each section of the trail offers an opportunity to discover new landscapes and enjoy the views.

3.Cycling Route "Valley of Palaces and Gardens" - A Unique Adventure from Chata Czego Dusza Pragnie

 

Distance: 61 km, elevation gain 640m uphill, 670m downhill (mainly uphill and downhill from our cottage :)

Embarking on a cycling journey from Chata Czego Dusza Pragnie, you are in for an unforgettable trip through the Valley of Palaces and Gardens. Following this route, you will have the chance to admire architectural treasures from past centuries. It’s a true blend of culture and history.

On the route, you will see:

  • Imperial Palace in Mysłakowice

  • Bukowiec Palace

  • Karpniki Castle

  • Oak Palace in Karpniki

  • Bobrów Castle

  • Wojanów Palace

  • Łomnica Palace

  • Old Town of Jelenia Góra

  • Palace on the water in Staniszów

  • Schaffgotsch Palace in Cieplice

  • Zdrojowy Park in Cieplice Zdrój

2. Dolina Pałaców i Ogrodów - Pętla z Chaty Czego Dusza Pragnie 

 

Dystans 61 km, przewyższenia 710m w górę , 730 m w dół

 

Ta trasa rowerowa to prawdziwy raj dla miłośników historii i przyrody. Rozpocznij swoją podróż w Chacie Czego Dusza Pragnie i pedałuj przez Dolinę, gdzie spotkasz renesansowe pałace otoczone pięknymi ogrodami oraz dzikie krajobrazy. To nie tylko wyprawa rowerowa, to autentyczne doświadczenie. W niektórych obiektach pałacowych znajdują się restauracje.

2.Short trip Chata Czego Dusza Pragnie - Podgórna Waterfall

 

Distance: 4.06 km, elevation gain 110m uphill, 100m downhill

Your journey will take you towards the third-largest waterfall in the Polish part of the Karkonosze Mountains – the Podgórna Waterfall. This charming waterfall is a perfect spot to relax and connect with nature. On hot days, you can cool off in the refreshing stream.

Cycling Tourism in the Karkonosze Mountains - Adventure on Two Wheels

 

The Karkonosze Mountains and the area around the "Czego Dusza Pragnie" cabin offer unforgettable opportunities for cycling tourism, both for those who enjoy a leisurely ride and for fans of more extreme experiences on specially prepared singletracks.

It’s important to note that the Karkonosze National Park imposes certain restrictions on bicycle movement in order to protect this beautiful natural environment.

Cycling Rules in the Karkonosze National Park. Cyclists may only move along designated trails and internal roads within the Karkonosze National Park. Here are some of these locations:

  • The Sudecka Road

  • Upper and lower internal roads near Szerzawa Mountain and Kopista

  • The blue trail from Przesieka and Borowice to Karkonoska Pass

  • Urszula's Road

  • The red trail to the PTTK Shelter Nad Łomniczką

  • The internal road near Chojnik (by the city activity center in Sobieszów)

It is worth following these rules to protect the unique natural environment of the Karkonosze.

Proposals for Guests of the "Czego Dusza Pragnie" Cabin

Below are our suggested cycling routes available for guests of the "Czego Dusza Pragnie" cabin. For each of these routes, we have prepared GPX files for download onto your navigation, phone, or watch to make it easier for you to navigate and enjoy the beautiful views of the Karkonosze.

When planning a trip from our cabin, pay attention to the elevation gains along the route. If you don’t have calves like Szurkowski, consider using an e-bike. Our cabin is located at an elevation of 550 meters above sea level, which is already a challenge for cyclists.

  • "Czego Dusza Pragnie" Cabin – Szklarska Poręba

Distance: 14.2 km, elevation gain 290m uphill, 200m downhill

This route is not demanding and follows the Pod Reglami Road. It is a wide forest track with slight elevation changes.
