First of all, we cannot forget about the Karkonosze Mountains. It is this mountain range that has stolen our hearts and inspired us to fulfill our dreams of our own wooden Cottage Where the Soul Desires. The Karkonosze are the highest and largest range of the Sudetes, stretching along the border of Poland and the Czech Republic. Here, you will find beautiful views, picturesque trails, and unique nature. The highest peak is Śnieżka (1603 m above sea level).
1. The ruins of Chojnik Castle are an incredibly picturesque place. You can reach it on foot or by bike. The hiking trail from our Cottage along with a GPX file can be found here

The Podgórna Waterfall is one of the larger and unique places in the Karkonosze, where you can refresh yourself in a natural pool. It is the third largest waterfall in these mountains. Regardless of the season, the water here is always refreshing.
